About this role

We’re hiring a Group Product Manager to lead a key product area within our Wholesale Network team and help shape the next generation of wholesale commerce experiences. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining the product strategy and guiding a team of Product Managers responsible for building capabilities that help merchants and brands discover, evaluate, and manage products more effectively across the platform. What you’ll be doing: • Product Leadership • Define and drive the strategy for a major product area within the Wholesale Network platform. • Translate company priorities and customer needs into clear product direction and roadmaps. • Ensure product teams focus on solving meaningful customer problems and delivering measurable outcomes. • Team Leadership • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers. • Help PMs develop strong product judgment, prioritization skills, and customer‑centric thinking. • Foster a strong product culture focused on learning, experimentation, and impact. • Platform and Cross‑Team Alignment • Ensure product experiences across your area are cohesive, scalable, and aligned with the broader platform strategy. • Partner closely with engineering, design, data, and go‑to‑market teams. • Identify and manage cross‑team dependencies to ensure coordinated delivery. • Execution and Outcomes • Support teams in discovery, prioritization, and delivery of high‑impact solutions. • Define success metrics and ensure teams are measuring outcomes and learning from results. • Surface risks early and help teams navigate complex tradeoffs. • Additional contributions • Champion the voice of merchants and suppliers across the organization. • Contribute to broader product and organizational strategy. • Help build a product culture that supports collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. What you need to bring: Successful candidates will have a strong track record building and leading product teams responsible for complex software products. • 8+ years of experience in product management roles in software companies. • Proven experience leading and developing Product Managers. • Demonstrated ability to define product strategy and drive execution across multiple teams. • Experience working on technically complex products involving structured data, integrations, or platform‑level systems. • Strong product judgment and ability to make decisions with incomplete information. • Experience aligning diverse stakeholders and driving consensus in complex environments. • A track record of delivering products that drive meaningful customer and business outcomes. Even better if you have: • Experience with retail, e‑commerce, marketplace, or wholesale platforms. • Experience building or scaling platform capabilities. • Experience working with both SMB and enterprise customers. What will help you succeed in this role: • Systems thinking, understanding how product surfaces, data models, and workflows interact across a platform. • A leadership style that develops strong product managers rather than directing every decision. • The ability to operate at multiple levels of abstraction, from product vision to detailed execution. • Clear communication that helps teams navigate tradeoffs and align on priorities. • A focus on outcomes over output. Benefits: • Lots of autonomy, flexible work culture and the option of fully remote work. • Genuine career opportunities in a company that is creating new jobs every day. • Opportunity to make a difference; help courses grow their businesses and become more successful by creating or improving products and addressing customer feedback. • Work in a team big enough for growth but lean enough to make a real impact. • Development of very high traffic products, used at the global scale. • Opportunities to learn and expand your skill set. • Become a valued part of the diverse and inclusive Lightspeed family. • Lightspeed equity scheme (we are all owners). • Flexible paid time off policy. • Extended Healthcare benefits. • Health and wellness benefit of $500 per year. • Paid leave and assistance for new parents. • Mental health online platform and counseling & coaching services. • Volunteer day. Lightspeed is a proud equal opportunity employer and we are committed to creating an inclusive and barrier‑free workplace. Lightspeed welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
