Operations Manager - Heavy Equipment

Job Overview We in search of an experienced Operations Manager for a busy Heavy Equipment company. In this role you will be required to oversee day-to-day dispatch operations, truck maintenance scheduling, and shop activities. This is a hands on leadership role for someone with a strong background in heavy equipment and construction, who thrives on keeping trucks moving, crews coordinated, and projects on schedule Key Responsibilities • Ensure dispatch operations run smoothly on a day-to-day basis • Oversee and maintain the truck maintenance schedule • Manage and schedule dispatching of various trucks • Lead, coordinate, and manage a team of drivers and shop staff • Coordinate heavy equipment logistics for construction projects, keeping timelines on track • Support and oversee shop operations and maintenance activities • Maintain accurate scheduling records and ensure attention to detail across all operations • Provide strong customer service to clients and internal teams • Travel to various jobsites as required Requirements • Experience with heavy equipment and construction projects and timelines. • Shop experience required • Proven experience managing a team • Experience dispatching and scheduling trucks • Strong attention to detail • Strong customer service skills • Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts, weekends and evenings as required. • Valid driver's licence and a clean driver's abstract • Legally entitled to work in Canada Pay: $80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year Benefits: • Casual dress • On-site parking Work Location: In person
