WSP is seeking a Site Mechanical Engineer to lead the successful execution of infrastructure projects in Toronto. Leverage your skills in mechanical design and construction leadership. This key role involves delivering mechanical engineering services in site execution and mentoring junior engineers.
With a strong foundation in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, your expertise will help support contractors and guarantee compliance with design intent. You will also perform regular site visits to ensure safety and reliability. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mechanical design services for infrastructure projects
• Serve as WSP’s engineering representative on-site
• Conduct site reviews and verify system installations
• Manage shop drawings and respond to RFIs
• Assist in commissioning and close-out activities Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering with P.Eng. registration
• 5+ years’ experience in mechanical system design
• Familiarity with industry codes and standards
• Expertise in construction field engineering
