Controller (Director of Finance) - 3+ month

Salary: $125 per hour Reference: JOB-20912 Excellent 3+ months contract for our client who is looking for a Controller to step into a key leadership role within a large, privately held organization operating across defence‑related manufacturing and technology. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑entity environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead monthly close and oversee consolidated financial reporting • Ensure compliance with IFRS • Manage internal controls and financial governance • Partner with senior leadership across diverse business units • Drive process improvements and support operational finance initiatives Must Have: • CPA designation preferred (or equivalent experience) • 5–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities • Strong knowledge of IFRS and multi‑entity reporting • Experience in manufacturing, defence, aerospace, or complex operational environments is an asset • Proven ability to manage month‑end close, financial reporting, and internal controls • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills Additional Information: The Mason Group is committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and accessible recruitment process.
