About Our Client
Our client is a leading global real estate investment management advisor and a globally recognized provider of real estate services. They are looking for a Senior Analyst, FP&A, for a 24-month contract. This role is based in Vancouver.
About the Opportunity
• Lead the delivery of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and other financial planning activities, providing insights that support business performance and strategic decision-making.
• Prepare actionable financial analysis and recommendations for senior leaders, operating with a high degree of independence and professional judgment.
• Design, maintain, and enhance recurring and project-specific financial models used for planning, performance measurement, and scenario analysis.
• Consolidate, validate, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Partner with business stakeholders on strategic initiatives and special projects, including support for M&A, corporate initiatives, operational improvements, and business growth opportunities.
• Produce research, quantitative analysis, and executive-ready materials for senior management and other key stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary owner of Assets Under Management (AUM) reporting and recurring KPI reporting requirements.
• Build collaborative relationships across business functions to ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial information and analysis.
About You
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional designation such as CPA, CFA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or a similarly analytical environment; financial services experience is an asset.
• Advanced Excel proficiency with demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining sophisticated financial models.
• Experience working with large datasets and data transformation tools such as Power Query, SQL, or comparable technologies.
• Strong PowerPoint, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to present findings to senior leaders.
