Our client is seeking an experienced HR Generalist II to provide comprehensive HR support to their business units in Austin, Texas . This role requires a strong understanding of HR best practices, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will partner with leadership to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives and foster a positive and productive work environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position operates under a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities Serve as a primary HR contact for assigned employee groups, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures. Manage employee relations issues, including conducting investigations, mediating disputes, and recommending appropriate resolutions. Support performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning. Assist with talent acquisition activities, including job descriptions, candidate sourcing, and interview coordination. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Administer benefits programs, respond to employee questions, and facilitate enrollment periods. Contribute to the development and implementation of HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention. Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS and other HR systems. Collaborate with HR leadership and other departments to achieve organizational goals. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 4-6 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a strong background as an HR Generalist. In-depth knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices. Proven experience in managing employee relations issues and conducting investigations. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail. Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Austin, Texas , demonstrating adaptability and collaboration skills. Benefits
