Job Title: DevOPS/Cloud Engineer - Senior
Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)
Duration 220 Business Days with possible extension

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer to provide technical leadership in the design, implementation, and support of AWS cloud-based solutions, with a strong focus on contact center technologies. This role will be responsible for architecting and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments, leading the development of Amazon Connect contact center solutions, and ensuring optimal system performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement.
The candidate will leverage expertise in AWS cloud services, microservices architecture, containerization technologies, Kubernetes, and serverless platforms to build and support enterprise-grade solutions. Responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, developing integration strategies, maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, monitoring production environments, analyzing system performance, and implementing security controls to safeguard data integrity and prevent unauthorized access.
This role requires hands-on experience with Amazon Connect capabilities, including call and queue flows, agent experience optimization, call recording, metrics and reporting, Contact Lens, and Contact Trace Record (CTR) data analysis. The Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-documented cloud solutions that support business objectives and enhance customer experience.
Must Have:
• 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery track record in a range of technical roles
• Ideally 5 yrs of experience in AWS cloud using AWS Services and tools, including Lambda, AWS Connect, API Gateway, Amazon Lex, AWS CLI, Kinesis, S3,KMS,Glue, DynamoDB, RDS, Amplify, and other core AWS services.
• Creation, management, and maintenance of AWS & related cloud-based production system.
• Deployment and automation of packages for cloud-based system
• Experience in design, development and implementation of an Amazon Connect cloud-based contact center solution. Services including, but not limited to: Call and Queue Flows, Agent Experience, Call Recording, Metrics, Contact Lens, CTR Data analysis
• Knowledge of IVR and Workflow.
• Experience in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Node, etc.
• Integration experience in building and using APIs
• 5+ years of experience working with implementing Contact center solutions
• Amazon AI agents exp.
Role and responsibilities.

• Monitor and assess the performance of applications in a cloud environment to ensure solutions are available
• Create, test and implement safeguards to maintain data integrity and protect against unauthorized access
