Summary: We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team and make a significant impact across various aspects of our organization. You will join our finance team and will provide financial reporting, help ensure the financial health of the company and assist in maintaining accuracy of our operations. Key Responsibilities: • Capture daily revenue, balance store sales, and apply AR payments to accounts to maintain accurate financial records. • Monitoring material receipts, applying AP invoicing to receipts and completing AP cycle. • Perform month-end balancing, sales analysis, and COGS entries to ensure financial accuracy and provide insights. • Handle daily, weekly, and monthly accounts payable and receivable tasks. • Balance transactions each month, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies. • Post and reconcile credit card purchases and gas cards monthly. • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including Manager P&L and transaction details, to support decision-making. • Conduct account analysis and investigate variances to identify trends and ensure data integrity. • Process credit applications, including online credit history reports and reference checks. • Monitor and respond to internal and external financial inquiries, providing timely issue resolution. • Maintain data accuracy and reporting in BisTrack, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. The Ideal Candidate: Our ideal candidate for the Financial Analyst role possesses the following qualifications: • A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field is considered an asset. • Proven experience in financial analysis, accounting, or similar role. • Experience with accounts payable and receivable management, preferably handling large volumes. • Proficiency in financial software and tools, with proficiency in BisTrack or similar ERP systems is considered an asset. • Strong Excel and Microsoft Suite skills. • Strong problem-solving skills to investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records. • High level of accuracy in capturing revenue, balancing sales and applying AR payments. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for monitoring email accounts and responding to inquiries. • Collaborative mindset to work closely with various teams and departments. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
