Elevate your electric skills with Merit Ontario as a 309A Licensed Electrician. Based in Chesterville, ON, this full-time role involves tackling diverse electrical projects with a collaborative team. As a 309A Licensed Electrician, you will be a vital part of a member company servicing Chesterville.
Your tasks will include installing and maintaining electrical fixtures, wiring systems, and troubleshooting various electrical issues. This position allows you to not only apply your technical skills but also to guide and support apprentices in their development. Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair lighting and distribution equipment
• Splice wires and ensure circuit functionality
• Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical systems
• Communicate efficiently with colleagues to enhance project outcomes
• Solve on-the-spot electrical problems and troubleshoot as needed Requirements:
• Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Code
• Clean driver’s abstract with valid ‘G’ license
• Ability to lift heavy objects regularly
• Positive, self-motivated attitude
