About this role

Role: AWS DevOps Engineer (AWS, CrowdStrike, CI/CD, Kubernetes) Toronto Hybrid - 3-4 days Job Summary We are seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD automation, containerization, infrastructure as code, and endpoint security using CrowdStrike Falcon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments while automating deployment pipelines and ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation). • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and Helm. • Configure and administer AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, ALB/NLB, Auto Scaling, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Route53, RDS, and EKS. • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation to automate cloud provisioning. • Automate deployments, monitoring, backups, and operational tasks using Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting. • Monitor cloud infrastructure using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Splunk. • Integrate security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines and automate vulnerability management. • Administer CrowdStrike Falcon Endpoint Protection across enterprise environments. • Configure CrowdStrike Falcon policies, host groups, prevention policies, sensor deployments, and endpoint detection capabilities. • Monitor security alerts, investigate endpoint threats, and collaborate with Security Operations (SOC) teams for incident response. • Perform vulnerability remediation and security hardening following CIS benchmarks and AWS security best practices. • Implement IAM security controls, MFA, Secrets Manager, KMS encryption, and least privilege access. • Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability architecture. • Collaborate with developers, cloud architects, security teams, and infrastructure engineers throughout Agile/Scrum delivery cycles. • Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, runbooks, and operational standards.
