This role provides broad exposure to various HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, HR policies, and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day HR operations, including employee onboarding and offboarding. Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues and conflict resolution. Assist in the recruitment and selection process for various roles within the organization. Administer HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistent application. Maintain employee records and HRIS data accuracy. Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal and provincial employment laws and regulations in Alberta . Assist with performance management processes. Develop and deliver HR training to employees and managers as needed. Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR matters. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a generalist HR role. Solid understanding of HR principles, best practices, and employment law in Canada . Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Experience within the energy sector or a related industry in Calgary is a strong asset.
