Senior Project Managers

Senior Project Manager (Level 3) Our public sector client is seeking a Senior Project Manager, L3 to lead complex IT and business transformation initiatives, ensuring project delivery aligns with departmental priorities, governance requirements, and Government of Canada standards. Responsibilities Lead and manage large-scale IT and business transformation projects. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and status reports. Coordinate project resources, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Monitor project scope, timelines, costs, and deliverables. Facilitate governance meetings and executive briefings. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Ensure compliance with Government of Canada project management frameworks and policies. Provide strategic advice and recommendations to senior management. Support procurement, contract management, and vendor coordination activities. Produce project documentation, presentations, and performance reporting. Mandatory Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex IT or digital transformation projects. Demonstrated experience leading multi-stakeholder initiatives within large organizations. Experience developing project governance frameworks, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Hybrid, Waterfall). Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and executive reporting skills. Ability to work effectively in a federal government environment. Valid Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain one. Preferred Qualifications PMP Certification. Experience with Government of Canada departments or agencies. Experience managing cloud, digital modernization, enterprise application, or infrastructure projects. Knowledge of Treasury Board policies, project gating, and federal governance processes.
