Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize business, customer, and technical requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams through product planning, development, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, product reviews, and executive communications.
• Develop Agile product artifacts including roadmaps, release plans, epics, features, and user stories.
• Mentor junior Product Managers and promote product management best practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, privacy, and security requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-phase projects in a regulated or public-sector environment.
• Demonstrated success delivering multi-year, multi-million-dollar programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in high-pressure environments with aggressive delivery timelines.
• Expertise in product lifecycle management, roadmap development, and feature prioritization.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, mitigation planning, and scope management.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
Technical Skills
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Trello, Kanban, and related project management tools.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud platform.
• Proficiency with collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Confluence, Miro, Slack, Zoom, Office 365, and Google Workspace.
• Experience preparing business cases, Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA), Threat Risk Assessments (TRA), financial analyses, and project documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
• Ontario Public Sector (OPS) experience.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, Stage Gate/PMO methodologies, and government project governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting ServiceOntario or other government digital transformation initiatives.
