Overview HireLoft Recruitment is proud to be representing a well-established, multi-entity organization in the healthcare space in their search for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team in downtown Toronto.This is a hands-on, core accounting role suited for someone who thrives in a structured environment, enjoys owning the details, and wants stability with clear expectations.Location: Downtown TorontoWork Model: Fully onsiteSalary: $85,000 to $90,000Benefits: Full benefits packageWhat You’ll Be Doing Own full-cycle accounting activities, including journal entries, month-end close, and general ledger maintenancePerform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany accountsReconcile bank accounts and credit cards, investigate variances, and resolve discrepanciesMaintain and manage accounting schedules such as accruals, prepaids, and fixed assetsSupport preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packagesAssist with ERP system usage and enhancements, NetSuite experience is a strong assetIdentify opportunities for process improvements and support implementationSupport ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as requiredWhat We’re Looking For 5 to 7 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in a multi-entity environmentStrong full-cycle accounting background with solid GAAP and ASPE knowledgeERP experience is required, NetSuite preferredAdvanced Excel skills are essential, including lookups and data analysis.
