Senior Accountant , Public Accounting Firm
Key Areas of Responsibility
Client Relationship Management & Advisory
•
Direct Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of local, owner-managed businesses.
•
Advisory & Query Resolution: Proactively communicate with clients to collect required documentation, resolve complex accounting inquiries, and provide timely tax-related guidance.
Financial Reporting & Assurance Support
•
Financial Statement Preparation: Oversee and prepare compilation engagement financial statements, ensuring absolute compliance with current standards.
•
Review Engagement Support: Collaborate on and assist with review engagements to support the firm’s assurance practice.
•
Working Paper Management: Assemble comprehensive year-end working papers and all necessary supporting documentation.
Tax Compliance & Filings
•
Full-Cycle Tax Prep: Formulate and file corporate and personal income tax returns, as well as specialized partnership and trust returns.
Project Execution & Team Collaboration
•
Engagement Delivery: Manage individual files from start to finish, ensuring all client deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
•
Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the firm//'s partners and the broader accounting team to coordinate on complex, multi-faceted client files.
Qualifications :
Require CPA with 5 years + experience in a Public Accounting Firm.
Experience with the following software is preferred: CaseWare, CaseView, Taxprep, QuickBooks Online
