About this role

Role Description Do you thrive on bringing cross-functional teams together to execute high-impact marketing campaigns that drive results? We’re looking for a Marketing Project Manager to join us at Thinkific. This role will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and projects across our fast-paced marketing team. You’ll manage timelines, remove roadblocks, and ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope—while enabling your teammates to do their best work. You will also help us manage our day-to-day operations by organizing the team in Asana, creating systems of organization, capturing and tracking our goals, and building a calendar for the marketing team. Your ability to bring structure to creative chaos will have a direct impact on the success of our launches and brand initiatives. You’ll report into the Content Marketing Manager on the Brand Team and collaborate closely with stakeholders from brand, demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, and more. Why does this role sit within brand? This is the most cross-functional area of our marketing team and it is involved in every initiative, every campaign, every goal. Your goal will be to increase team efficiency and the speed of project delivery. You will be measured on campaign performance, speed to launch, creative team NPS, and our overall marketing goals. Here’s how you’ll accomplish this: • Create and maintain detailed Asana projects and project briefs for campaigns, events, and marketing initiatives, ensuring timelines, roles, and responsibilities are clearly defined. • Manage the marketing department’s quarterly planning process from end-to-end and implement feedback and improvements each quarter. • Work with Marketing leadership (Directors and VPs) to prioritize projects, align on deliverables, and allocate resources effectively. • Manage creative team (video, visual design, content design) requests and projects. • Track project performance using appropriate tools, adjusting plans and communications to keep everything running smoothly. • Facilitate kickoffs, stand-ups, and retros to keep teams aligned and continuously improving. • Identify and proactively mitigate risks or blockers that could impact delivery. • Document workflows and improve repeatable processes to scale execution across teams. • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Marketing, Content, Design, and Lifecycle Marketing, customer marketing, demand gen, and more, to ensure goals are met. • Communicate progress, outcomes, and performance metrics to relevant stakeholders and adjust as needed. This includes managing review cycles with our leadership team. Qualifications • 3–5 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or campaign coordination in a B2B SaaS or digital marketing environment. • Uses AI to increase efficiency and automate workflows when appropriate. • Comfortable making decisions with limited information and some ambiguity. • Demonstrates a history of accountability for multi-channel marketing campaigns and cross-functional projects. • Can manage fast-shifting priorities and communicate changes with stakeholders with ease. • Comfortable navigating both the creative and functional sides of marketing. • Experience communicating with stakeholders across levels — from designers to execs — and knows how to use feedback to continuously improve. • Loves to learn and grow, continuously seeking ways to level up skills in this field. Requirements • Experience with Asana or a similar project management tool. • Familiarity with common marketing platforms (HubSpot, Google Suite). • Understanding of OKR or V2MOM goal setting systems. • Interest in people-first project leadership and optimizing team collaboration. Benefits • A competitive compensation package including base salary, equity, team-wide bonuses, and an Employee Share Purchase Plan. • Flexible Paid Time Off to maintain mental and physical health, with a minimum of 4 weeks of vacation plus Thinker Holidays and time off for the December holiday season. • Comprehensive health benefits starting on Day 1, including health, vision, and dental coverage for you and your family, $3,000 for mental health care, and additional health spending accounts. • Generous parental leave top-ups for up to 32 weeks, as well as fertility coverage and personalized return to work options. • 3 Paid Volunteer Days each year to give back to your community. • Flexible Work options, including remote work from anywhere in Canada or at our Vancouver HQ. • Access to AI tools for every Thinker to work smarter and faster. • An annual $2,000 CAD Learn and Grow fund for conferences, seminars, or courses, plus training, mentorship, coaching, and internal promotion opportunities. • A home office setup with a company-owned Macbook Pro and a budget for ergonomic accessories. • A welcoming environment where you can bring your whole self to work.
