Software Engineer (Contract)

The business is investing in its technology platform as it continues to modernize how customers access insights, reporting, and workflow tools across a global commercial environment. The Role This is a full-stack engineering role for someone who enjoys building across backend services and front end and modern web applications. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering peers to ship reliable features, improve platform architecture, and contribute directly to the systems behind customer-facing data products. What You Will Do • Build, test, and ship full-stack features across backend services and frontend applications • Design scalable APIs and integrate services that support reporting, insight delivery, and customer workflows • Work with product and design partners to turn business requirements into clean, usable software • Improve application performance, reliability, accessibility, and maintainability across the platform • Contribute to technical design discussions, code reviews, development practices, and engineering quality What You Bring • 2+ years of experience building backend and frontend software in a professional engineering environment • Strong experience with Python, Java, or similar backend technologies • Hands-on experience building modern web applications with JavaScript or TypeScript • Experience with MVC frameworks such as Django, Ruby on Rails, ASP.NET MVC, or similar • Strong working knowledge of React, application state management, REST APIs, databases, and testing practices Why This Role This is a strong fit for a full-stack engineer who wants ownership across product and platform work without being boxed into one layer of the stack.
