About this role

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our centralized Analytics team to help us better understand user interactions with 1Password. You will work closely with senior analysts and cross‑functional partners to support feature measurement, build reports, and enable data‑informed decisions. This is a role for an early‑career analyst who is naturally curious and willing to grow. Responsibilities • Ask insightful questions, dig into data, and continuously learn. • Write and troubleshoot SQL queries; develop skills in modern analytics tools. • Use clickstream and behavioral event tracking tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel. • Build or contribute to dashboards in a BI tool (Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar). • Conduct, interpret, and communicate diagnostic analysis. • Apply A/B or A/A testing concepts to measure product changes. • Maintain data quality and attention to detail. • Communicate progress, blockers, and findings to teammates and stakeholders. • Seek help, ask clarifying questions, and partner to solve problems. Qualifications • 2+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or product data contexts. • Working knowledge of SQL; ability to write and troubleshoot queries independently. • Familiarity with clickstream/behavioral event tracking tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel. • Experience building dashboards in a BI tool. • Ability to conduct, interpret, and communicate analysis. • Exposure to A/B or A/A testing concepts. • Attention to detail and strong data‑quality instincts. • Excellent communication skills. • Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn. • Nice to have: beginner‑level Python or R; familiarity with event taxonomy or instrumentation design; exposure to SaaS or enterprise product environments. • Nice to have: familiarity with modern AI or BI tools (Omni, Claude, Dust, Hex, or similar). Compensation USA-based roles: annual base salary $95,000–$133,000 USD, plus benefits and equity. Canada-based roles: annual base salary $83,000–$116,000 CAD, plus benefits and equity.
