Role:
The Executive Director of Sales, Field Growth is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for driving revenue growth through the execution of national or regional field sales strategies. This role leads SMB and Mid-Market sales teams with significant focus on Genius, develops market expansion initiatives, and ensures alignment with broader organizational objectives. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on leadership of field sales delivery, focusing on customer acquisition, retention, and revenue optimization. The Executive Director partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product, operations, and finance, to deliver consistent, scalable sales performance across assigned territories.
What you’ll own:
• Sales Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute field sales strategies aligned with corporate growth targets.
• Identify new market SMB and MId Market opportunities, customer segments, and revenue streams.
• Translate high-level objectives into actionable plans for regional and territory teams.
• Leadership & Team Development
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales leaders and frontline managers.
• Build a high-performance, accountability-driven sales culture.
• Revenue Performance & Forecasting
• Own and deliver revenue targets, pipeline health, and key sales KPIs.
• Oversee forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Monitor performance trends and adjust strategies to optimize results.
• Customer & Market Engagement
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and accounts.
• Represent the organization in high-value negotiations and strategic deals.
• Provide market intelligence to inform product and go-to-market strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with product and operations to ensure customer needs are reflected in offerings and delivery.
• Collaborate with finance and HR on budget management, compensation strategy, and workforce planning.
• Operational Excellence
• Drive consistency and discipline in sales processes, tools, and reporting.
• Leverage data and analytics to improve decision-making and sales productivity.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and ethical sales practices.
What you’ll bring:
• Degree in Business Management, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 7-10 years of leadership experience (in/or with sales preferred).
• Located in Toronto or Montreal and available to come to our offices when necessary.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
It’s a bonus if you have:
• Experience in the Fintech industry
• Knowledge and understanding of payment industry terminology
• Bilingualism in French and English may be required as per location
