• Translate engineering requirements into detailed, manufacturable mechanical designs.
• Design piping systems, valve trains, headers, expansion tanks, support structures, brackets, and related mechanical hardware.
• Perform mechanical, fluid, and thermal calculations to support product development.
• Apply engineering best practices including GD&T, tolerance analysis, and design-for-manufacturing principles.
• Create and maintain detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and Revit.
• Produce fabrication, assembly, installation, and manufacturing drawings.
• Develop P&IDs, piping layouts, routing drawings, and supporting engineering documentation.
• Maintain design documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and validation activities.
• Conduct experiments, collect performance data, and refine designs based on test results.
• Evaluate thermal and mechanical performance of cooling systems.
• Support design improvements through multiple product development iterations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to support product launches.
• Assist with troubleshooting production and field issues.
• Define installation requirements including mounting, loading, alignment, and mechanical interfaces.
• Support continuous product improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Supply Chain on component selection and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and project teams.
• Contribute technical expertise throughout product development and commercialization.
• Support multiple concurrent engineering projects in a fast-paced environment.
