About this role
Join our team as a Licensed Electrician responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across City facilities in Ontario. You'll work on various wiring and electronic systems, including EV chargers. This skilled role requires the Electrician to perform tasks related to troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of both interior and exterior electrical systems.
You'll also prepare plans and maintain accurate records while potentially overseeing contractors and providing training. Familiarity with safety regulations, building codes, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act is essential. Key Responsibilities:
• Install and repair interior and exterior wiring systems
• Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
• Maintain accurate records and prepare specifications
• Oversee contractors and train staff on standards
• Operate various tools and equipment responsibly Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Qualification as Electrician
• Extensive experience with electrical systems required
• Valid Class 'G' driver's license
• Ability to work in diverse conditions and confined spaces
