Electrician - Foreman Summary These successful candidates will be ready to lead a crew and complete our projects on time and on budget. Successful candidates will be working out of Calgary. Your crews will be Installing cable tray, conduits, equipment, fixtures and other electrical devices and systems in industrial settings. Static electricians work in multiple industries. i.e. Power Generation, Sawmills, Mining, Manufacturing, O&G. This position is for a long term employee who is looking for a company to grow. Training and further education is open to those who earn it. We are looking for a competent Electrical Foreman to coordinate crews and oversee workers at your site. As the point of reference of both workers and supervisors, you will be a key person for the completion of a project. A Foreman has a solid background in the field. Your leadership skills and your extensive experience have earned you the ability to direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. Key Electrician Responsibilities • Coordinate construction according to priorities and plans. • Allocate general and daily responsibilities • Supervise and train tradespeople • Ensure manpower and resources are adequate • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met • Monitor expenditure and ensure it is within budget • Resolve problems when they arise • Report progress daily to your manager • Install electrical components of industrial equipment. • Install supports and raceways proficiently (Cable tray, Conduit etc) • Work as a team member to complete projects. • Enforce safety procedures and meet electrical codes. • Make decisions based on technical documents. • Perform quality testing and inspections. • Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment Industrial Electrician Requirements: • Proven experience as a successful Foreman • In-depth knowledge and experience on industrial construction projects • In-depth knowledge and experience on prefabricated skid buildings • MCC Buildings • EHouses • Process Buildings • Understanding of electrical systems • Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints • Excellent organizational and leadership skills • Ability to communicate and report effectively • Problem-solving abilities • Good physical condition and stamina • High school diploma or diploma in a skilled trade Sabre is committed to a strong health, safety and environmental management system (HSE MS) that protects its staff, the public, the natural environment and its property from accidents.
