Who we are looking for: Rogers Consolidation Finance is currently looking for a Senior Financial Analyst who will report to the Finance Manager Consolidation. The successful candidate for this role will bring with them strong foundation in data analysis, income statement forecast, month-end and results analysis. What you'll be doing : Support the Finance Manager by taking a leadership role in the management and resolution of initiatives and identified issues, including gathering the required detailed information on variances (results/forecasts), performing in-depth analysis and recommending the appropriate approach / actions to resolve the issues. Prepare monthly reporting KPIs and packages, including commentary of financial results, identifying any unusual trends and resolving with internal teams. Develop, implement, and standardized new reports (income statement, KPIs) that drive results to provide more insights into financial performance. Lead preparation of monthly and quarterly forecasts and annual budgets. Liaise with internal teams for information and act as point of contact for accounting, business, and other finance teams. Proactive identification of value-added reporting and analysis as well as areas of focus for risks and opportunities. Prepare weekly RCI outlooks for ELT-level review by partnering with BU Finance teams to understand risks and opportunities, consolidating inputs into the total RCI P&L, and summarizing key changes and drivers. Ad hoc support and analysis when needed. What you Bring : University Degree and accounting/finance designation (MBA/CPA/CMA/CGA/CA/CFA) is required. Strong financial background with 3-5 years of progressive experience within finance. Advanced analytical skills and the ability to get into the details, while also seeing and understanding the big picture. Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint and modeling skills required. SQL, Access and SAS skills for efficient data manipulation is an asset. Strong business acumen and Telecom industry knowledge / experience is an asset. A strong track record of being able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and prioritization of tasks, with a focus on quality and details. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective interaction with all levels of company management and personnel. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials and Essbase an asset.
