Experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians – Premium Shift Work (weekend, evening, overtime)

Alcon Electrical is looking for experienced Commercial / Industrial Electricians to support premium shift work on upcoming projects. This position is specifically for qualified electricians who are comfortable working independently, taking direction, and supporting crews during weekend, evening, overtime, or premium shift schedules. We are also looking for individuals with strong leadership qualities who are confident helping guide a crew, communicating clearly on site, and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently. This is not an entry-level position. Applicants should have strong commercial or industrial electrical experience and be confident working in active construction or industrial-style environments. Position Details: • Premium shift work • Weekend, evening, and overtime premiums • Commercial / light industrial electrical work • Project-based work with potential for future premium shift opportunities • Work located in Calgary’s NE Ideal Candidates Will Have: • Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience • Journeyperson Electrician status preferred • Higher-level apprentices may be considered • Leadership experience or the ability to help support and direct a crew • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision • Strong English communication skills for safety, coordination, and site instructions • Strong understanding of safe work practices and site procedures • Experience with installations, troubleshooting, equipment connections, cable pulling, distribution, lighting, and general electrical construction tasks • Reliable transportation to site Required / Preferred Certifications: • CSTS • WHMIS • Fall Protection • Elevated Work Platform / Aerial Lift certification considered an asset • Valid electrical apprenticeship or Journeyperson certification preferred Applicants must be dependable, safety-focused, and available for premium shift work.
