NAC Constructors is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to enhance water and wastewater construction efforts in Ottawa. This role is perfect for professionals experienced in electrical installation and troubleshooting.
In collaboration with the Electrical Superintendent, you will perform crucial tasks such as installing conduits, wiring, and control equipment. Your ability to manage electrical systems while ensuring compliance with regulations will play a vital role in the success of our projects. Your previous experience in the heavy construction industry will support NAC’s commitment to quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain electrical wiring and fixtures
• Inspect systems using test equipment
• Advise on equipment safety and operation
• Plan layouts based on specifications and codes
• Direct and mentor less experienced team members
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Electricians license
• 3+ years in a construction environment
• Experience in hazardous location installations
• Knowledge of safety procedures and tools
• Relevant safety certifications required
