About this role
Diversified Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with CPA designation on behalf of our client, a growing Calgary-based energy company. This is a temporary 1-2 month placement, with the opportunity for extension.
This assignment supports core financial accounting, billing, AP workflows, KPI reporting, and audit and carbon tax compliance, working extensively in SAP and Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Billing support and full-cycle AP workflows
• KPI reporting and variance analysis
• Supporting internal and external audits, and carbon tax (TIER) compliance
• GL, AP, AR, and purchasing
• Fixed asset accounting
• WBS / project accounting
• Reporting interfaces and financial models
• Advanced, day-to-day use of SAP and Excel
Qualifications:
• CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) designation is mandatory
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• 5+ years of progressive, full-cycle accounting experience
• Advanced SAP and Excel skills

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
