About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst with specialized expertise in Quebec tax, particularly TP-1 returns. In this role, you’ll prepare and review both federal (T1) and Quebec provincial (TP-1) tax returns, drive solutions to complex tax challenges, and contribute to the development of best practices across products and teams. This fully remote position.
What You’ll Do:
• Prepare and/or review federal and Quebec provincial tax returns (T1/TP-1). TP-1 (Quebec) experience required.
• Research, analyze, and document tax issues of the highest complexity and breadth.
• Support product evaluation and enhancement; contribute to roadmaps, epics, and stories.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and estimate activities for successful project outcomes.
• Develop and document standards and best practices in tax content and processes.
• Effectively communicate complex tax issues in clear, concise language to diverse audiences.
• Conduct strategic analysis of tax issues, offering innovative and compliant solutions.
Must-Have Experience & Skills:
• Minimum 3 years’ experience or relevant post-secondary education in accounting or finance.
• Advanced experience with TP-1 (Quebec) return preparation and review.
• Strong background in tax research, analysis, and Canadian tax law.
• Proficiency with tax preparation software (TaxCycle, TaxPrep and ProFile are assets).
• Excellent written and spoken English and French (bilingualism is required).
• Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly and effectively.
