About this role

About the position Join the Operational Business Support team, in the Bilingual Analyst, Analytics and Reporting position. This position oversees the day-to-day reporting requirements of lenders of time-sensitive default and arrears data, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and consistency across multiple systems. The role operates under strict monthly and quarterly deadlines and plays a critical role in maintaining corporate-level default and arrears reporting integrity. Responsibilities • Validate account data prior to system ingestion to prevent downstream reporting and operational risks. • Ingest and process default and arrears reports in accordance with evolving procedures, policies, and reporting requirements. • Apply strong understanding of reporting terminology, calculations, and procedures to identify anomalies and mitigate risk. • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve reporting errors by conducting extensive system research and liaising with multiple internal departments. • Ensure all reporting outputs meet established quality, accuracy, and compliance standards. • Use advanced Excel skills to correct formatting issues, manipulate data, and support reporting accuracy. • Maintain and update procedures, workflows, and tools to reflect process changes and operational improvements to provide ongoing support to colleagues by leveraging and sharing expertise in systems and operational processes. • Manage and prioritize high volumes of work that fluctuate throughout the reporting cycle, including short periods of intense pressure. Requirements • An undergraduate degree in Business Administration or in a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience. • A minimum of one (1) year of related experience in analytics, reporting or mortgage-related functions. • A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong skills in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting. • A proven ability to meet deadlines, manage competing priorities, and adapt to evolving processes and organizational needs. • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information, provide recommendations, and deliver professional client service. • Effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners, supported by an understanding of work procedures and their impact on business continuity.
