Reporting to the Director of Destination Development, the Senior Manager provides governance and oversight for the Ottawa Visitor Centre, ensuring service excellence and operational standards. You will direct visitor operations, improve services based on visitor needs, and develop staffing approaches. Your leadership will shape the visitor experience and partnerships, positioning Ottawa as a top urban destination.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead strategic direction for the Ottawa Visitor Centre
• Ensure consistent service excellence and operational standards
• Establish risk management controls for daily operations
• Evolve visitor-serving models according to best practices
• Oversee staff development, training, and performance evaluations
Requirements:
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken
• Minimum 7 years in public-facing service environments
• Supervisory experience with staff performance feedback
• Business proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
• Strong decision-making skills and data-driven insights
