About Us
We're a privately held investment company focused on long-term real estate and property investments. We're looking for an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and support our investment portfolio.
Responsibilities
• Manage full-cycle accounting for the holding company and its investment entities
• Maintain the general ledger and financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare GST/PST and other statutory filings
• Coordinate year-end working papers with external accountants
• Track investment transactions, capital contributions, distributions, and intercompany accounts
• Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis
Qualifications
• 5+ years of accounting experience; holding company, investment, or real estate accounting preferred
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or CPA candidate an asset
• Familiar with Canadian bookkeeping and tax requirements
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Excel
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently and maintain confidentiality
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (Spoken & Written )
