Senior Manager for Visitor Operations at Ottawa Tourism

Lead the Ottawa Visitor Centre with Ottawa Tourism as a Senior Manager in Visitor Operations and Services. Drive strategic priorities, operational excellence, and world-class visitor experiences for our vibrant city. Reporting to the Director, Destination Development, the Senior Manager will oversee the Ottawa Visitor Centre, ensuring alignment with Ottawa Tourism’s mission and standards. This role requires demonstrated leadership and strategic vision to enhance visitor experiences, maintain service excellence, and manage daily operations. You will guide the Manager, Visitor Services, and part-time staff through coaching and performance feedback. Key Responsibilities: • Provide strategic leadership for the Ottawa Visitor Centre • Establish service standards and operational expectations • Lead visitor service model evolution and improvements • Define staffing approaches and training standards • Serve as the primary point for higher-risk issues Requirements: • Fluently bilingual in English and French • 7+ years in a public-facing service environment • Supervisory or lead experience in service settings • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 Demonstrate leadership, service excellence, and operational strategy to elevate visitor experiences at Ottawa Tourism.
