About this role

Job Description What is the opportunity? A Client Service role within Client Operations providing day to day custody servicing to Insurance and other financial institution clients. This mandate includes oversight and responsibly to ensure all monitoring and reporting for OSFI-regulated accounts is completed appropriately. You will learn to work proactively and collaboratively with your colleagues and with internal operations teams to ensure delivery of a positive, client centric outcome. What will you do ? • Respond promptly and accurately to daily client queries and requests within SLA • Investigate and resolve all responses, researching further information as appropriate and dealing directly with the client using a consultative partnership approach • Anticipate issues and proactively work to address concerns before they escalate • Process day-to-day free asset transfers (non-transitions related) • Advise Manager of all significant issues, suggesting ways to resolve • Maintain professional and productive working relationship with all business partners; working alongside them to ensure a successful resolution of clients’ issues • Research and follow-up on overdraft positions on a daily basis • Manage and complete various components of the audit request (i.e. financial statement, cash flow activity analysis/explanations) What do you need to succeed? Must haves: • Excellent interpersonal skills and networking abilities with clients and internal • Good verbal and written communication skills • Client management skills • Risk Assessment & quantification methodologies • Issues escalation and resolution • Facilitation Skills • Organizational & time management skills • Understanding of investment industry and client requirements Nice-to-have: • Solid understanding of Risk Management & Compliance requirements relating to KYC & AML • Pertinent industry & regulatory/compliance requirements • Knowledge of systems and processes used by RBCIS (preferred) • Preferably 3 to 5 years relevant working experience.
