About this role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Analyst to support data-informed decision-making for a non-profit organization based in Calgary, Alberta. In this role, you will partner with teams across the organization to shape reporting solutions, deliver meaningful analysis, and improve access to reliable insights. You will play a key role in turning business questions into practical dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics outputs that strengthen planning and operations.Responsibilities:• Lead analytics initiatives that support multiple functional areas, ensuring priorities, timelines, and deliverables are clearly organized and executed effectively.• Manage end-to-end reporting and analytics projects, from defining scope and gathering needs to coordinating testing and final delivery.• Develop detailed business and technical requirements for dashboards, reports, and other analytics products, while supporting quality assurance activities.• Work closely with staff and leadership to explain reporting logic, data context, and dashboard functionality so users can confidently interpret results.• Act as a liaison between business teams and technical partners to clarify analytics needs and help shape practical, scalable solutions.• Partner with data specialists on complex analytical work that spans several departments and requires advanced solution design.• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support data analysis related to Trust Safety and other organizational priorities.• Examine datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities that can improve decision-making and operational performance.• Translate operational needs into reporting designs, technical specifications, and actionable analytics recommendations.
