About the Role Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Specialist with a focus on Employee Relations to join their team in Baltimore, Maryland . Key Responsibilities Investigate and resolve employee grievances and disputes in a fair and timely manner. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Conduct workplace investigations related to harassment, discrimination, and other employee conduct issues. Develop and deliver training programs on employee relations topics, such as conflict resolution and anti-harassment. Advise on performance management strategies and assist with disciplinary actions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary on complex employee relations matters. Assist in developing and updating HR policies and employee handbooks. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment through proactive engagement. Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations records. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience specifically in employee relations or a similar HR role. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Proven experience conducting workplace investigations and handling sensitive employee issues. Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with a hybrid work model is beneficial. SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus. Benefits Competitive salary package.
