Are you a strategic HR leader who thrives at the intersection of people, operations, and organizational growth? We're partnering with an industry-leading organization to find a Director of HR who will lead the delivery and evolution of key HR functions across a complex, multi-site workforce.
This role is ideal for a people-focused leader who combines strong operational expertise with a passion for creating exceptional employee experiences. You'll play a key role in shaping HR strategy, driving process improvements, optimizing HR systems, and building scalable programs that support both employees and business objectives.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
People Operations
• Lead and optimize HR operations, including HRIS, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
• Drive HR technology enhancements and system optimization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with provincial, federal, and employment legislation.
• Develop scalable processes and programs that support a growing and evolving workforce.
Total Rewards
• Oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate and enhance total rewards offerings.
• Support compensation reviews, benchmarking, and workforce planning initiatives.
Organizational Effectiveness
• Lead workforce planning, change management, and organizational development initiatives.
• Develop HR metrics, dashboards, and reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement across HR processes, policies, and service delivery models.
• Partner with senior leadership to align people strategies with business objectives.
Employee Experience & Culture
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performing workplace culture.
• Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and workplace investigations.
• Support leaders in navigating complex people matters with fairness and consistency.
• Champion employee engagement initiatives and strengthen organizational culture.
What We're Looking For:
• 10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
• Strong background in HR operations, systems, compliance, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience leading HR transformation, process improvement, and change management initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with Workday or a comparable enterprise HRIS platform.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing HR teams.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience supporting multi-site, seasonal, hospitality, tourism, or service-based organizations is considered an asset.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
• CHRP designation preferred; PCP and/or MBA considered assets
