Dayforce HR Core Lead - Part-Time Level : Mid/Senior Consultant Start Date : July 22,2026 Duratio n: April 15,2027 Hours : Part-time 20/hrs /week Location : Remote - Toronto/GTA Travel • N/A Language s: English Rat e: $80-130/hr Scope Highlights: • Complex Job step progression (under the Collective Agreement) • Position Management • Security Matrix management / support • Environment Management • Data conversion experience to support the team • Optional: Cutover planning / support Dayforce Implementation & Optimization • Serve as SME for configuration across Dayforce HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Learning, WFM, Payroll, Benefits). • Lead and support new implementations: requirements gathering, process design, configuration, testing, deployment, and stabilization. • Improve system workflows to automate manual tasks, reduce administrative work, and enhance user experience. • Ensure configuration aligns with global processes and local legislation. Process & Workflow Transformation • Assess and optimize HR, TA, and Payroll workflows for efficiency and scalability. • Configure rules, forms, workflows, and notifications in Dayforce. • Standardize and document end‑to‑end processes. • Maintain governance for system changes and enhancements. Reporting & People Analytics • Build and maintain dashboards and reports for HR and business leaders. • Ensure data accuracy across Dayforce and integrated systems. • Translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions. • Support core people metrics (headcount, turnover, time‑to‑fill, workforce cost, span of control). Integrations & Technical Coordination • Partner with IT and vendors on integrations, troubleshooting, and system maintenance. • Support data migrations, imports, and security role management. • Coordinate system releases, upgrades, and regression testing. User Experience & Enablement • Create and deliver user training and guides. • Act as escalation point for complex system issues. • Drive adoption through simple, intuitive system design. Data Governance & Compliance • Maintain data standards, audits, and validation processes. • Ensure compliance with privacy and legislative requirements. • Support audits involving HR and payroll data. What We're Looking For: • 4–7 years of hands‑on Dayforce configuration experience. • Experience supporting or leading major Dayforce module implementations. • Deep understanding of HCM processes and workflow design. • Strong skills in reporting, dashboards, data management, and security roles. • Experience with integrations and working with technical teams. • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. • Process improvement mindset (Lean/Six Sigma an asset).
