About the Role Our client, a leading player in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee their major distribution hub in **Toronto, Ontario**. This critical role demands exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of supply chain operations, and a proven ability to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest standards of safety and productivity. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order picking, packing, and shipping. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, throughput, and inventory accuracy. Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of warehouse associates, supervisors, and leads, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Oversee the maintenance and effective utilization of warehouse equipment and technology, including WMS (Warehouse Management Systems). Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures. Manage departmental budgets, control operational costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including transportation, procurement, and customer service, to ensure seamless supply chain execution. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational targets. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. Optimize space utilization and workflow within the **Toronto, Ontario** distribution center. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations management, with a strong focus on large-scale distribution. Proven track record of successfully managing large teams and driving operational excellence. In-depth knowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and other warehouse technologies. Strong understanding of inventory control, material handling, and logistics best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated experience in budget management and cost control. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as operational demands require in **Toronto, Ontario**.
