Senior Fullstack Developer (Contract) – Toronto Avelsen is a tech consulting firm specialized in Data, AI, Software and DevOps, working with major international groups on high-impact digital transformation projects. We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to join us on a mission with a large international pharmaceutical company in Toronto. About the project You will work on an internal AI assistant platform used by over 90,000 employees worldwide. The team is building new specialized sub-agents to extend the platform's capabilities, and you will contribute across the full stack — from backend to frontend — to design and industrialize these new features. This is a software development role, not an AI/ML engineering role: you will be building the application layer, not training models. What we're looking for • 6+ years of experience as a Fullstack Developer • Strong expertise in Node.js / TypeScript and React / TypeScript • Hands-on experience with full serverless AWS architecture • A senior developer who has truly adopted an AI-first way of working — using AI throughout your daily development process: automation, testing, coding, refactoring • Strong ownership, autonomy and initiative beyond just writing code • Fluent English (international, agile environment) Mission details • Location: Toronto • Onsite: 3 days/week (Monday to Wednesday) • Contract type: Independent contractor (hourly rate) • Start: ASAP Interested?
