Fund Accounting - VP & Manager - Hedge Funds

The role You'll sit at the heart of fund accounting operations, owning the accuracy and delivery of NAV calculations and financial reporting for a portfolio of hedge fund clients. This is a client-facing leadership role - you'll manage relationships at a senior level, guide a team of junior accountants, and serve as the go-to technical resource on complex instruments and fund structures. What you'll do • Prepare, review, and sign off on NAV calculations, investor capital statements, and financial reports for hedge fund clients across strategies • Manage the full lifecycle of capital calls and distributions, ensuring accurate and timely processing • Serve as a primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, handling complex queries on fund performance, fees, and structure • Provide technical oversight on derivatives instruments including swaps, futures, options, and other complex products • Mentor and develop junior team members, reviewing their work and fostering a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement • Partner with internal teams - operations, technology, and legal — to streamline processes and support client onboarding What experience you'll have: • Hedge fund accounting experience • NAV calculations & reporting • Derivatives knowledge • Capital calls & distributions • Investor statement preparation This firm's North American expansion is creating real opportunities for advancement, not just job titles.
