About the Role Our client, a national retail chain renowned for its commitment to quality and customer service, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Operations Director to oversee operations across Quebec. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic operational plans to achieve regional sales and profitability targets in Quebec . Oversee the daily operations of all retail stores within the assigned region, ensuring high standards of customer service and presentation. Manage, coach, and develop store managers and their teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and merchandising standards. Analyze sales data, operational reports, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions. Control operational expenses and manage budgets effectively for the region. Implement and oversee inventory management processes to minimize loss and optimize stock levels. Drive initiatives related to loss prevention, safety, and compliance across all locations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in multi-unit retail operations management, with a strong understanding of the Quebec market. Demonstrated success in P&L management and driving operational efficiency in retail environments. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large teams. Excellent understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and customer service best practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data. Fluency in both French and English is essential for effective communication within the Montreal region. Proficiency in retail management software and POS systems.
