Director of Channel Development, Canada

Join Gopher as the Director of Channel Development to shape the distribution landscape in Canada. This senior role requires building connections with Chinese high-net-worth networks and delivering global alternative products. Based primarily in Toronto and Vancouver, you will cultivate relationships with independent financial advisors and family offices. Your entrepreneurial spirit will guide you in crafting a new channel ecosystem while adhering to Canadian regulatory frameworks. You will also enhance Gopher's visibility within the Chinese financial community. Key Responsibilities: • Create and implement a channel distribution strategy in Canada • Maintain and expand relationships within Chinese HNW networks • Distribute Gopher's range of alternative investment solutions • Collaborate with legal for compliance with Canadian regulations • Scale the local team in line with business growth Requirements: • Minimum of 12 years in channel development or wealth management • Proven track record with Chinese high-net-worth clients • Canadian financial licensing (CSC, CFP, CFA, or EMD) • Knowledge of CIRO/OSC/AML compliance necessary • Experience with alternative investment products is advantageous Lead the growth of a successful distribution network for Gopher in the Canadian market. #J-18808-Ljbffr
