About this role

TekStaff's Client has a current vacancy for a Capital Markets - Business Analyst - IT Job Description: Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills: 1) 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with hands-on experience with requirements gathering & documentation, stakeholder management across business and technology and Agile delivery environments 2) Experience in Capital Markets with Market Data knowledge – specifically: Interest rate products (swaps, curves); Equities and volatility concepts 3) Experience with market data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters/LSEG, etc.) 4) Proven ability to analyze and document: O Market data flows O Pricing validation processes O Vendor data dependencies 5) Experience analyzing test cases, including data analysis and comparison, Test case creation, Functional and integration testing, UAT coordination Nice-To-Have Skills: 1) Familiarity with Unix/Linux command line tools. 2) Basic Python or scripting experience 3) Understanding of SDLC Soft Skills Required: • Strong stakeholder communication and influence across cross-functional teams • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation • Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable requirements • High attention to detail (critical for pricing and valuation accuracy) • Collaborative approach in Agile environments • Proactive in identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field • CFA / FRM (asset – not mandatory) TekStaff may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools as part of the applicant screening process.
