About the position
Next Best Action (NBA) is a team focused on driving RBC’s Personal Banking vision to become a global leader in client experience through hyper-personalized interactions and seamless client orchestration. This Senior NBA Product Manager role reports to the Director, NBA Product Owner and is crucial in advancing NBA’s vision of delivering hyper personalization for RBC clients. The role aligns with the Strategy Function and leads the translation of strategy into execution within an agile pod. This individual will collaborate with multiple lines of business, internal and external partners, to ensure NBA achieves its intended outcomes. This role requires working in the office 4 days a week.
Responsibilities
• Partner with Director, NBA Product Owner and functional partners to develop and execute on strategies that support our ambition.
• Responsible for the delivery of efficient, accurate, and compliant marketing campaigns to support channel and client optimization through exceptional collaboration skills and a strong understanding of the Data and Campaigns Environment.
• Build strong relationships within agile pods (e.g. within NBA, Line of Businesses, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Value Office, Digital Messaging, Channels and other technical teams) to collaborate and bring together expertise required to execute on strategy.
• Act as a SME for the campaigns across multiple lines of business, stepping in where needed to support shifting priorities and timelines to deliver on required transformational initiatives within agile pods.
• Responsible for partnering with teams to ensure that we are bringing a client experience lens to the design of the campaign.
• Translate business requirements into actionable and consumable marketing tactics and insights while ensuring campaign requirements accurately match the design and build with quality assurance.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities within the execution cycle, demonstrating ability to apply both breadth and depth of understanding.
• Act as the single point of integration for key technical and channel teams such as Mobile & Martech to ensure alignment with PODs goals.
• Facilitate and be responsible for overall timelines of strategic campaign execution – run refinement sessions, sprint reviews or any cross-functional meetings to make progress and overcome bottlenecks.
• Coordinate post-launch detailed review of results, identify optimization opportunities and inform business decisions for prioritization.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with end-to-end campaign management, marketing or strategic analytics.
• Exceptional communication skills to be able to translate business requirements into actionable and consumable marketing tactics insights.
• Strong business acumen and analytical, communication, data visualization, organization and presentation skills.
• Must be analytically driven - base level data extraction and some level of technical ability to understand and identify issues in campaign data.
• Ability to analyze data and provide data-informed recommendations to drive impact.
• Demonstrated ability to grasp new concepts quickly with exceptional partnership, impact and influence across multiple cross-functional stakeholders.
• Demonstrated strategic, innovative thinker who has high comfort with ambiguity and is proactive in identifying opportunities and driving work forward.
• Experience in financial services and knowledge of Personal banking products.
• Ability to bridge business and technical expertise to deliver targeted campaigns.
• Passion for Data and AI.
