Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, project management, and customer relationship management, with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals effectively. You will work closely with the Sales Director to develop strategies that enhance business objectives and foster long-term relationships with clients. Duties • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in domestic and international markets • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and partners • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals • Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and satisfaction • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance market penetration. • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new partnerships • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs • Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on performance metrics • Lead project management efforts for new initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals • Prepare presentations and proposals for potential clients, showcasing our services Skills • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels • Strong understanding of international shipping and logistics is a plus • Preferred logistics sales experience but not a must • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer interactions and sales processes • Proven track record in business development with a focus on building lasting client relationships • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively Job Type Full-time Pay $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year Benefits • Casual dress • Company events • Dental care • Mileage reimbursement • On-site gym • On-site parking • Paid time off • Vision care • Work from home Experience • transport sales : 5 years (required) Work Location In person
