Business Analyst / Project Manager – Futures & ETD Operations

Position: Sr. Business Analyst / Project Manager – Futures Clearing & ETD Operations Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid Summary Seeking a Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager with 10+ years of Capital Markets experience and strong expertise in Futures Clearing and Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations. The role supports large-scale transformation initiatives, business process analysis, stakeholder management, testing, and operational readiness. Key Responsibilities • Analyze and document end-to-end Futures Operations processes, including trade lifecycle, clearing, margin, settlements, reconciliations, and operational reporting. • Partner with Front Office, Operations, Technology, and external stakeholders to deliver business and system changes. • Manage project governance, planning, risks, issues, dependencies, and status reporting. • Gather and translate business requirements into delivery solutions. • Lead testing activities (Integration, E2E, UAT) and support implementation, cutover, and operational readiness. • Develop process documentation, procedures, and training materials. Required Skills • 10+ years as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or Program Lead in Capital Markets. • Strong knowledge of Futures Clearing, ETD Operations, Margin & Collateral, Settlements, and Reconciliations. • Experience with transformation, system integration, and operational change initiatives. • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and project delivery skills. • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office. Preferred • Experience with FCMs, Clearing Brokers, or Clearing Houses. • Exposure to organizations such as CME Group, Intercontinental Exchange, LCH, or Options Clearing Corporation. • Strong background in testing, operational readiness, and vendor management.
