A growing manufacturing and engineered solutions organization is seeking a Controller to lead the accounting function and support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and operational decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a hands‑on environment while partnering closely with leadership to drive financial performance, process improvements, and business growth.This role works closely with operations, sales, suppliers, customers, and external auditors to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls, and timely business insights.What We Offer:Competitive compensation package based on experience.$140-160K , yearlybonus 5-10% ,car allowance$700, company phone, 4 weeks’ vacation + 5 personal days.Full‑time permanent opportunityLocation: Aylmer, Ontario(mainly in office with some flexibility to WFH 1 day a week)Opportunity to work directly with senior leadershipCollaborative and team‑oriented cultureGrowing organization with a strong reputation across multiple industriesExposure to strategic initiatives, process improvements, and operational financeOpportunity to make a meaningful impact on the businessWhat You'll Do:Oversee the full accounting cycle, including monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close activitiesPrepare accurate financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and commentaryManage general ledger activities, reconciliations, journal entries, and working paper preparationAssist with annual budgeting and forecasting processesAnalyze cost changes, expenses, and business performance metricsEstablish, monitor, and improve internal controls and accounting processesCoordinate internal and external financial reporting requirementsSupport year‑end audit preparation and liaise with external auditorsSupervise Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and general accounting functionsPrepare ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to support business decisionsPartner with multiple departments to improve financial visibility and operational performanceLead special projects and continuous improvement initiativesWhat We're Looking For:5–7+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of full‑cycle accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingExperience preparing financial statements and management reporting packagesProven experience implementing and improving accounting processes and internal controlsStrong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesExperience managing or mentoring accounting staffAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly ExcelExposure to ERP systems and accounting softwareStrong project management, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent communication and relationship‑building abilitiesAbility to work independently while collaborating across departmentsManufacturing, industrial, or project‑based environment experience is considered an assetIf this sounds like a fit for you, we invite you to apply today!Drake International is an equal opportunity employer committed to accessibility, inclusivity, and diversity.
