Job Description
On behalf of our Healthcare client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to work on a part-time engagement on the 3Mensio Infrastructure Upgrade & Workflow Continuity.
Responsibilities
• Assess the current state of the system environment, including workflows, technical and operational requirements, and conduct gap analysis, along with evaluation of security, privacy, and compliance risks, considering both short- and long-term options
• Develop and present recommendations and implementation strategies for system upgrades, including enterprise hosting, multi-user access, cross-site enablement, and system integrations
• Provide project leadership and coordination to support infrastructure deployment, license expansion, system configuration, implementation, and readiness for operational use
• Perform hands-on analysis to finalize clinical, technical, and operational requirements
• Coordinate stakeholders across clinical teams, technical teams, vendors, and operational partners to ensure alignment, minimize disruption, and maintain service continuity
• Support scalability planning to ensure alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives
Project Management & Delivery Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with technical teams and business stakeholders on solution strategy, delivery, and change management
• Lead and coordinate implementation efforts to ensure a smooth transition to upgraded or new solutions
• Execute project planning activities and develop governance documentation, including project charters and related deliverables
• Gather and document requirements and conduct detailed analysis as needed
• Develop, maintain, and execute project plans, guiding project teams through implementation
• Oversee daily project delivery to ensure alignment with timelines, budget, scope, and quality expectations
• Manage project risks, issues, and change requests, ensuring timely resolution
• Produce regular and ad hoc project status reports for stakeholders
• Facilitate problem-solving and resolution of issues encountered by project teams
• Support change management efforts with operational and clinical stakeholders
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure successful delivery and implementation of project components
Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in Healthcare with a particular focus on IT systems and operational support
• Minimum 10 years of experience in managing projects to implement business systems
• Proponent shall possess experience and skills to prepare meeting materials and take minutes
• Proponent shall possess strong English language oral and written communication skills
• Proponent shall possess strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• It is an asset if the proponent possesses experience or knowledge of specific Health Authority administrative business processes and applications
• It is an asset if the proponent possesses previous experience with Cardiology or any Cardiac Services
• It is an asset if the candidate possesses a PMP certification
