About this role

Our client, a fast-paced analytics company, is looking for a talented Data Scientist with a strong focus on AI model development to join their fully remote team. This role offers the exciting opportunity to design, build, and deploy predictive models that drive business value across various domains. You will work with diverse datasets and cutting-edge machine learning techniques. As a fully remote position, you can contribute your expertise from anywhere in the US, collaborating closely with colleagues via digital platforms. Responsibilities: Develop and implement machine learning models to address complex business problems. Perform data exploration, feature engineering, and model selection. Evaluate model performance using appropriate metrics and techniques. Deploy models into production environments and monitor their performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations. Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI. Design and execute A/B tests to validate model impact. Contribute to the development of data infrastructure and best practices. Mentor junior data scientists and share knowledge within the team. Qualifications: Master's or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field. 3+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in building predictive models. Strong proficiency in Python or R and associated data science libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with SQL and working with large datasets. Solid understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and experimental design. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting. Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
