Many employers share specifics during the interview process or after an initial screen.## Resume Keywords to IncludeMake sure these keywords appear in your resume to improve ATS scoringWordPressORBrandCommunicationsContractPartHybridReportsSign up free to auto-tailor your resume with all these keywords and get a higher ATS score## Job DescriptionBrand & Communications ManagerContract* Part-time* Hybrid* Reports to: Executive DirectorAbout This RoleYou will shape how Art + Health shows up in the digital world - building community online, telling our stories with care, and making sure our audiences across the East African diaspora in Toronto feel seen and heard.Key Responsibilities* Plan, write, and distribute the monthly A+H newsletter - curating program updates, community spotlights, and mental health resources* Maintain and update the A+H website with timely, accessible content; liaise with technical support as needed* Develop and execute a social media content calendar across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn that reflects our community’s voice and values* Create original content - graphics, short-form video, captions, blog posts - that is culturally resonant and trauma-informed* Grow and engage our online community by responding to comments, amplifying partner organizations, and building authentic digital relationships* Track and report on communications metrics; use insights to refine strategy each quarter* Update brand design and kit ensuring consistency across all platforms, organizational materials and events* Remote: project meetings (Mon-Fri 9-5), project planning, design, administration, etc.* In-person: program, event, and workshop (evenings & weekends) attendance and day of support is essential to the roleWhat We’re Looking For* 2+ years in communications, marketing, or a related role* Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences* Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) and social media scheduling platforms* Understanding of mental health, stigma, and the importance of language in healing spaces* Demonstrated commitment to community care and anti-oppressive practice* CMS experience (WordPress or similar); basic web editing skills, proficiency in web design is a strong assetOur Commitment to EquityArt + Health is an equal opportunity organization.
