About this role

About Us We are a virtual-first primary care organization reimagining how people access and experience healthcare. Our mission is to deliver comprehensive, high-quality, and compassionate care that integrates technology, data, and human connection through a seamless digital platform complemented by in-person visits when needed. While our care is provided exclusively to patients in the United States, our team is distributed across the United States and Canada, bringing together clinicians, technologists, and operators who share a commitment to making high-quality healthcare delightful, personal, and accessible to everyone. Description We're hiring a Product Analyst to join our Product Analytics team at Circle Medical, within the broader Business Intelligence & Analytics function. This role exists to help Product make decisions more confidently, making sure product decisions are informed by what the data shows. You'll turn behavioral data into clear, opinionated recommendations, help shape what we ship, and build systems that let others self-serve confidently. You'll partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers. And because product data sits at the core of what we do, you'll have exposure across the company. Product analytics at Circle Medical is still being built and you'll help shape it alongside the rest of the team. We're looking for someone with a point of view, a bias to action, and the instinct to find what unblocks the team even when conditions aren't perfect. This is a hybrid position based in our Montreal office. Responsibilities Foundation: instrumentation & data quality • Own product event instrumentation end-to-end: taxonomy, tracking plans, governance. Partner with engineering to ship clean data from the start • Ensure that product usage data is tracked, structured, and accessible to product managers and other stakeholders Metric definition & KPI frameworks • Define what success looks like for new features and initiatives • Design measurement frameworks that scale across pods so definitions don't fragment • Help Product decide what to measure for new initiatives, and why Strategic analysis & recommendations • Run deep-dives that translate ambiguous questions into specific recommendations • Surface behavioral trends and growth levers proactively • Influence roadmap decisions with evidence Self-service enablement • Build processes and tools that let stakeholders answer their own questions • Advise stakeholders across the company on how to best leverage product data in their own analysis and workflows Experimentation • Own the experimentation lifecycle across your assigned pods • Advice on when not to run a test, and reach for the right method when randomization isn't possible Required Skills / Qualifications • 3+ years in Data Analytics or a similar role, exclusive of internships • 1+ years working directly on product analytics: defining metrics, instrumenting features, supporting product decisions • Strong SQL skills and comfort working with event-level datasets • Strong knowledge of experimental design and statistical inference • Proven track record of shaping and influencing strategy • Strong communicator who takes ownership and is comfortable navigating ambiguity • Professional fluency in both French and English (verbal and written). This is essential for communicating effectively with our local team and stakeholders across Canada and the US. Preferred Skills / Qualifications • Hands-on event taxonomy and tracking plan design with Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar • You've used AI enough to have a practical point of view on what it's good for and where it breaks • Experience at a small-to-mid-size company, wearing multiple hats and working closely with lean teams • Experience with data modeling and modern data stack tools (we use Amplitude, Looker, Redshift, Dagster, GrowthBook) • Advanced analytical experience: predictive modeling, segmentation, or causal inference • Healthcare, Retention, or RCM (Revenue Cycle Management) experience Compensation Our compensation is market-aligned, performance-led, and designed to ensure internal equity. We review pay regularly, with progression tied to demonstrated impact and expanded scope rather than tenure alone. Final offers are determined by an applicant's unique skills, competencies, and qualifications. Benefits Please note that specific benefits vary by country and location of employment. Your recruiter will confirm the exact package available to you during the interview process. • Paid Time Off: Flexible vacation, sick leave, and 12 statutory holidays. • Health & Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, and Life insurance. • Wellness: Mental health programs and an Employee Assistance Program (EAP). • Retirement: RRSP/401(k) program with company match. • Development: Annual reimbursement for eligible training and professional programs. • In-Office Perks: Monthly lunches and team events for in-office employees. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country where the role is based at the time of application.
